Elmer Almer Ershagen
I build and ship games, tools, and content, and I share the process as I go.
Right now I am focused on my own projects, blending game development, content creation, and practical AI experiments to raise my creative and technical standards.
Recent work includes releases on Steam and itch.io, plus the Evion YouTube channel where I break down real systems and outcomes.
I value execution, clarity, and long-term growth. If you are building something meaningful, feel free to reach out.

Journey
A few turning points in games, UX and sharing what I learn.
Bringing UX, code and film together
For Aether at Futuregames, I built a multiplayer simulation and led the video edit around a speculative shared-dream concept. It brought interaction design and storytelling into the same project, making an imagined experience tangible enough to discuss and question.

In the Duro Sweden client case, I helped turn accessibility reviews and two rounds of usability testing into a clearer shopping flow. My focus was filtering: making it predictable, accessible and easier to understand.

Started UX studies at Futuregames
I started in September. In the Vilike project that autumn, I worked on research, testing and interaction design for a children’s movement app, where clear feedback for children and trust for adults mattered equally.

Echoes of Steel launched on 17 July. An unfinished game-jam prototype became a complete solo release, teaching me that playtesting, trailers, store presentation and the work of launching needed as much care as building the game.

Starting with the people using it
Oss Lärare Emellan began with teacher conversations and prototypes in autumn 2024. Across the project, research and testing shifted our broad community idea towards finding useful teaching resources. It became an early lesson in letting user needs shape what I build.

I began making devlogs and Minecraft content on YouTube, documenting the projects alongside building them.
Learning through small releases
I experimented with and published at least three small games on itch.io. I also started Automation Haven, taking on the interconnected systems of a factory game.
